Join visual and ceramic artist Mary Conroy for this year’s Science Week event at St. Canice’s Cathedral, on Saturday 14th November 2026. In this hands-on workshop the group will discover the history of the medieval tiles, and how they were designed and made. Participants will work under Mary’s guidance to design, create and make their own tile, in this wonderfully messy and tactile session.
Learn the science behind tile making during medieval times, and come away with your own unique piece.
