Summer Organ Recitals- Dr Harry Meehan
Harry Meehan was born in Dublin. At the age of 16, Harry became one of the youngest ever organ scholars at St Patrick’s Cathedral.
Harry accompanied the Cathedral choir regularly for their twelve weekly sung services, on the glorious Willis organ. Dr Harry Meehan FRCO, Director of Music at Saint Canice’s Cathedral, will perform organ works by Alain, Karg-Elert, Elgar, Krebs and Mendelssohn.Dr Meehan will play the cathedral’s wonderful Bevington Organ and our very fine William Drake chamber organ.
